Her Story
About Shraddha
Shraddha Khadka serves as founder of Paso Tech, where she leads development of the PASA language learning app designed to support non-English speaking immigrant families. Her path into education technology began after moving to the United States from Nepal, where she had spent seven years teaching English test preparation and providing career guidance to students. Motivated by the language barriers she observed in New York immigrant communities, she built the PASA app, which started with Nepali content and has expanded to eight languages, reaching 70,000 users in 130 countries since its January 2025 launch. Khadka earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Bangalore, India, followed by a master's in business analytics from East Texas A&M Commerce, and is currently pursuing a PhD in business with a marketing focus at UGA. She attributes her success to strong problem-solving skills, dedication, and the unwavering support of her family, including her parents, brother, and husband.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Shraddha
01What do you attribute your success to?
My problem-solving skills and dedication, along with my family's support, have been the key factors. I always look at problems and try to solve them rather than being affected, and my family including parents, brother, and husband are always there to support my dreams.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If you have a plan or a goal, just do it. Don't ask yourself anything, just start what you want to do, and the help and support will follow you. Everything will come, but you have to start.
