I work for Dell and have been with the company for 10 years. I'm an expert in pricing, which is my vertical of expertise. I've held different positions in pricing, from being a product pricer to a product manager, and now I'm an architect overseeing the end-to-end transformation journey in pricing for Dell, which is going through a major transformation change today. I'm leading the architecture for that for the Americas region. My typical day involves working very closely with different stakeholders, which includes our pricing teams, merchandising teams, the IT development side of the world, and vendors. My work is around basically gathering requirements from our business stakeholders, translating it into a technical format for the IT counterparts and for the vendors we work with, and also training all the pricing stakeholders. I'm responsible for basically all the tools and processes that we have at Dell from a pricing standpoint. I manage the Americas, which includes North America, South America, Canada, all-inclusive, and I support close to 200 pricers and 50 merchandisers. One of my biggest achievements was last year when I designed the whole competitive intelligence structure for my company at pan-Dell level, and we basically implemented it globally for all the countries that we operate in. The project I'm currently working on is a global project which will bring in a Dell-wide transformation, and I'm leading one of the major verticals for that as well.
