Her Interview
Ten minutes with Shree
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my tenacity and my commitment to putting purpose before self. A value my father instilled in me from a young age, this mindset has helped me navigate challenges, work with different personalities, and stay focused on the greater impact of my work. I believe in doing well by doing good and keeping purpose at the center of everything I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is not to internalize negativity or difficult personalities. I learned that spending too much energy defending myself or reacting to challenging situations can distract me from my mission, focus, and purpose. Staying grounded and keeping my attention on what truly matters has helped me navigate challenges with greater clarity and resilience.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are dedication, creativity, and maintaining meaningful connections. As an Indian classical dancer for over 20 years, I have learned the importance of discipline, perseverance, and continuous growth. I also value curiosity and innovation through my work on personal projects, as well as the time I spend with my family and my dog, Bowie.
