What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of my success to the unwavering support of my family, particularly my mother and my husband. They have always been my pillars, providing encouragement and guidance every step of the way. Knowing they have my back gives me the confidence to take on challenges and pursue opportunities with determination. Their support empowers me to aim high and believe that I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my aunt, who works in the pharmaceutical industry. She encouraged me to embrace every opportunity that comes my way and not to underestimate my own abilities. Her message was simple: don’t think “I can’t do this” or “I’m not ready”—just take the opportunity and move forward. I’ve followed this guidance throughout my career, and every experience has taught me something valuable. It remains the most impactful advice I’ve ever received.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to be bold and embrace every opportunity that comes your way. It’s important to follow your passion and genuinely love the work you do, rather than focusing solely on what pays the most. When you are committed and enthusiastic about your role, it naturally sets you up for success. Taking risks and trusting yourself will open doors and accelerate your growth in ways you might not expect.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In the field of radiopharmaceuticals, one of the biggest challenges we face is awareness and understanding of the products and their benefits. Many people, particularly men, are hesitant to undergo certain tests, such as those for early-stage prostate cancer, due to fear or uncertainty about the process. Educating both patients and healthcare providers about the importance and timing of these tests is critical. One of our key goals this year is to increase awareness and help people feel more informed and confident about the options available to them.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me, both in my work and personal life, are kindness and loyalty. I strive to treat everyone with respect and compassion, while remaining true and loyal to myself and my principles. I believe that when you lead with these values, success naturally follows.
