About Shri
Shri Jaishankar serves as a re-commerce senior category manager with Amazon. He has been in the retail industry since 2021, bringing five years of experience that includes time spent earning his MBA. An engineering student who transitioned into management, Shri earned his MBA from Arizona State University after completing his undergraduate engineering degree. He focuses on becoming a subject matter expert in the retail space, particularly the returns business. Shri participates in the Arizona State University Alumni Association and his undergraduate university alumni association, where he volunteers by mentoring current students and providing them with support and exposure. He values performing ethical and morally right actions throughout his career.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Retail industry is really interesting. You have your end customers and internal customers. When you feel imposter syndrome sink in, make sure you get over it. It will keep coming but digest it and still show up. Once you start being really good at the skill of showing up, your imposter syndrome will go down.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The one thing that I want to hold onto as a value for the rest of my life is to make sure that I do ethical and morally right things as I proceed with my career. I think that is very important.
