Shrishti Karkera

Shrishti Karkera is an AIML engineer with expertise in NLP and generative AI solutions. Since entering the field in 2021, she has focused on applying machine learning and AI to critical systems. She joined the healthcare technology startup Trulogik in October 2025, where she works on the ML and AI side to automate lengthy legacy processes for healthcare payers. Her contributions include developing modules for Rx Inspector product that validates claims and detects incorrectly adjudicated prior auths and AI-generated chart notes, resulting in millions of dollars saved for multiple payers. Shrishti earned her Master's degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo in 2024, with a specialization in NLP that deepened her understanding of the industry. She also holds a Solutions Architect Certificate from AWS. Earlier, she graduated as valedictorian in India, where she volunteered extensively and was mentored on a remote sensing and ML-based final year project involving satellite data analysis. She maintains membership in the Society for Women Engineers, though she is not currently active.
