Strategic water infrastructure leader and licensed engineer with extensive experience driving large-scale public utility operations, capital improvement programs, and regional water policy initiatives. Currently serves as Central Texas Client Relations Director at Lochner, leading client engagement, business development, and strategic growth across water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.
Also appointed as a Water and Wastewater Commissioner for the City of Austin, advising City Council on policy, regulatory frameworks, and long-term planning to ensure sustainable, reliable, and environmentally responsible water and wastewater systems. Plays a key role in aligning infrastructure investments with community needs, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance.
Previously served as Central Texas Water Practice Manager at K Friese + Associates, where led client-facing strategy, regional growth initiatives, and multidisciplinary teams delivering complex infrastructure solutions.
Brings nearly a decade of leadership experience at Austin Water, culminating as Managing Engineer overseeing 40+ staff and multiple high-profile public-public and public-private partnerships. Directed capital improvement programs, permitting, and right-of-way management while providing technical leadership on legislative impacts, annexation, utility contracts, and large-scale development projects. Led critical initiatives including reclaimed water systems, onsite water reuse strategies, and long-term water planning frameworks.
Earlier career includes serving as City Engineer for the City of Lancaster, TX, managing municipal infrastructure, regulatory compliance, floodplain administration, and public works programs. Known for strong stakeholder engagement, technical expertise, and the ability to bridge policy, engineering, and community priorities to deliver resilient and future-ready water systems.
