About Sienna
Sienna Limon is a project management professional with 8 or 9 years of experience. She began her career in the United States Air Force, where she spent 7 years managing aircraft maintenance operations. She recently earned her PMP certification through the Project Management Institute and was recognized as Scheduler of the Year within her Air Force squadron in 2024. Sienna is currently completing her bachelor's degree at American Military University, where she is also a member of the National Honors association society. She plans to transition into the construction side of project management after her military service. Sienna is a member of the Project Management Institute.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would have to say my family and my previous supervisors. I had two very awesome supervisors that really shaped me into the leader I am today.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Build trust within your employees, that people are always gonna wanna work for you if you're working for them. And that if you're just that you gotta, you know, lead by example, and Work with your people.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Oh, to hold strong. It can be a very male-dominated industry, and that women still have a place in it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges would, you know, as being female in a male-dominated career field, I do feel like that can be kind of a not an issue, but Something that People overlook sometimes that, you know, women don't necessarily have the experience, or the knowledge, or The ability to hold some of these positions, within construction and maintenance, as a woman. And So I Would say that You know, to push yourself.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
For me, trust, really, and Honesty, and having that being able to have that open, honest relationship of, you know, things are gonna get hard, but I'm gonna work with you, and, you know, we're gonna work on this together, and, you know, we're a team. It's us against the problem. Not us against each other.
