She began her career in construction as a single mother seeking better compensation and benefits and developed a passion for the industry through the satisfaction of watching projects progress from design to completion.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my commitment to quality and doing things right. I take great pride in delivering work that meets high standards and seeing customers complete their walkthroughs without complaints. Knowing that I have helped deliver a quality product without shortcuts or hidden issues gives me a tremendous sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is never to make assumptions or presume that I always know what is right or wrong. Instead, listen carefully, remain open-minded, and do your research. Even when I disagree with someone, hearing their perspective fully can teach me something valuable and broaden my understanding.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to trust their instincts, stay confident in their decisions, and never stop asking questions. Always do your research, seek reliable information, and double-check the details before making important decisions.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are open communication, collaboration, and delivering quality work. I believe construction projects are more successful when everyone communicates effectively and has an opportunity to contribute their input. In my personal life, family is my priority, and I value spending quality time with my children and maintaining a well-rounded family life. I also prioritize my health through regular exercise, healthy eating, and maintaining a lifestyle free of smoking and alcohol.
