Sirena Young

Sirena Young is a PMP®-certified project management professional known for her ability to create clarity out of complexity and guide cross-functional teams toward shared goals. Based in Sacramento, California, she currently serves as a Strategic Account Manager at Trawick International, where she leads initiatives that drive efficiency, process improvement, and measurable impact across sales, marketing, customer service, and IT functions. Her expertise spans stakeholder management, product operations, and customer success—skills honed through years of leading projects and teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Before entering the project management field, Sirena earned both her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Action and Master’s in Counseling from Palo Alto University, a background that continues to influence her leadership style today. Her experience as a therapist specializing in eating disorders taught her the power of deep listening, empathy, and motivational interviewing—principles she now applies to client relationships, collaboration, and project management. Her thoughtful approach to communication has become a cornerstone of how she builds trust and fosters productive partnerships in her professional life.

Sirena is deeply passionate about solving problems and empowering others along the way. As a self-starter, she enjoys diving in, figuring out what’s not working, and building something better. Outside of her career, Sirena continues to inspire and help others through her podcast—where she blends vulnerable real-life experiences and clinical training to share meaningful self-help insights—and through volunteering in her community, providing food and clothing to those in need.
