Her Interview
Ten minutes with Siri
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to staying focused and not letting distractions get you off your focus. Distractions are slow killers of dreams. It's important to stay focused but you have to have something to focus on, so you must have a vision. If you don't have a vision, or goal, or dream, then there's nothing for you to focus on. I feel like we were all put here for a purpose and we just gotta figure out what that purpose is.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't allow fear to stop you from advancing into what it is that they really want to do. Don't self-defeat yourself. Trust your gut and the feelings coming through your psyche. Don't do tit-for-tat or badmouth colleagues. Rise above negativity. Don't let lack of a college degree or current skills stop you from going after the position you desire.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The top of the list for me when it comes to work is having integrity. Integrity, Trust and patience. I try to exemplify that and bring that value add to any relationship. I value more relationship building than how much money am I gonna get in the deal. If you have great relationships, the money will come.
