Her Story
About Skarleth
Skarleth Ayala is a flight instructor who has been in the field for two years. She teaches students by scheduling appointments, flying with them, and helping them obtain their private pilot, instrument, or commercial ratings as she builds her own hours toward becoming an airline pilot. Aviation has been her passion since childhood when her father took her to the airport to watch aircraft take off and land. After coming to the United States, she worked various jobs to complete her pilot training. Ayala earned an associate's degree in psychology from Liberty University in addition to her aviation training. She is a member of AOPA and is signing up for Women in Aviation. She attributes her success to her children and shares the career advice to never give up and to keep moving forward no matter how hard it gets.
