About Sneha
Sneha Abhyankar serves as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, a position she has held for the past 2 years. She brings 4 years of consulting experience to her role, with expertise in supply chain strategy and product strategy. Abhyankar began her career at GE in an operations management leadership program, where she held multiple supply chain positions including strategic sourcing, lean manufacturing, and planning across various industries. After completing her MBA in supply chain and business analytics, she transitioned into consulting, focusing initially on planning projects before expanding into procurement work in healthcare, med tech, and pharma, as well as implementation and go-to-market strategy in the technology space. She holds a mechanical engineering degree and a Micro Masters from MIT in supply chain. Abhyankar is a member of the Forte Women's Foundation.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
One of the top advices is to think differently and treat thought partnership with clients as paramount importance. Most people come in with an execution mindset but the value we bring is how we can shape strategy or solution with a client through different lines of thought.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In the consulting industry, keeping up with new AI tools that are changing fast, ramping up with them, using AI correctly to influence productivity, and managing the huge talent and mindset shift required for AI adoption.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Giving 100% effort every single time no matter the situation, maintaining the right mindset that doesn't let external factors affect mood or performance, and delivering fully like top athletes who give their all when they step onto the field.
