Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sneha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of resilience, ambition, curiosity, adaptability, lifelong learning, self-belief, and a genuine passion for life. I believe in pursuing opportunities and work that bring me joy and fulfillment. Resilience has been particularly important in helping me navigate challenges, setbacks, and rejection. I view rejection as redirection and believe that every setback can lead to a new opportunity. I also believe that growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones, remain open to change, and have the courage to reinvent ourselves. I never take rejection personally; instead, I use it as motivation to keep learning and moving forward.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I would share is: do not simply build a career; build a reputation and a lasting legacy. I believe that no single job title should define a person's potential or limit what they can accomplish. It is important to remain curious, continue learning, reinvent yourself when necessary, and consistently expand your knowledge and horizons. A meaningful career is built not only through professional achievements but also through credibility, personal growth, and the lasting impact of your work.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to follow their passions, stay focused on their goals, and believe in themselves, even when they encounter rejection or difficult people. Invest in yourself and never stop learning. Continuously develop new skills, expand your knowledge, and remain open to opportunities that challenge you to grow.
I also believe it is important to build credibility before pursuing recognition. Deliver quality work, maintain professionalism, treat others with respect, and take pride in doing your best. Finally, cultivate meaningful relationships and build a strong professional network. The connections you develop, along with your knowledge and reputation, can help create opportunities throughout your career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in healthcare is keeping pace with the rapid evolution of technology, particularly artificial intelligence and other emerging innovations. Healthcare professionals and organizations must continually adapt while ensuring that new technologies are implemented responsibly and effectively.
Another significant challenge is the fragmentation of healthcare systems. Silos between organizations can make collaboration, information sharing, and coordinated care more difficult. At the same time, these challenges create opportunities to modernize healthcare delivery, strengthen collaboration, and improve patient and provider experiences.
Ultimately, the priority should be ensuring that technological advancements translate into meaningful improvements in healthcare outcomes. Innovation must benefit all populations, including underserved communities, while helping address persistent healthcare disparities.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity and integrity are among my most important values. I believe in being genuine, transparent, and consistent with my principles, even when doing so is difficult. Independence, self-respect, self-sufficiency, and mutual respect are equally important to me, particularly in the relationships I build both personally and professionally.
I also value personal growth, reinvention, intellectual curiosity, and the pursuit of excellence. I believe in maintaining credibility, approaching challenges with purpose, and creating meaningful impact through my work. Above all, I value meaningful connections with family and friends, innovation, and the opportunity to continue learning and contributing in ways that make a difference.
