Snigdha Sharma Harbola

I am an actuarial consultant with over a decade of experience in pension valuations, financial reporting, and risk analysis, currently serving as Actuarial Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services, a role I have held since June 2021, where I apply statistical and analytical expertise to support actuarial consulting and reporting in a hybrid capacity in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Prior to this role, I spent nearly seven years at Aon in progressively responsible roles, including Actuarial Manager for over two years, where I worked on US DB Pension plan valuations, Long Term Disability Plan valuations, medical plan valuations, and Investment Consulting for Pension plans, while also handling a team of actuarial analysts, Senior Actuarial Specialist for three years, and Actuarial Specialist for nearly two years. I also served as Senior Actuarial Analyst at Willis Towers Watson for nine months, where I performed actuarial valuations for Indian Gratuity plans, Leave Encashment, Superannuation, and Korean Pension Plans, and at Mercer for over two years, where I worked as Senior Actuarial Analyst and Actuarial Analyst, performing actuarial valuations for US DB pension plans and Korean Pension plans.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the Department of Statistics at the University of Delhi and a Master's degree in Economics from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.
