Sofia DeBlanc

Sofia DeBlanc is the Owner and CEO of DeBlanc CPA, a startup niche accounting and advisory firm she founded late last year in Northern Virginia. As a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia, she focuses on providing specialized services to trade contractors, building strategic partnerships with trade associations, banks, and insurance companies to better serve her clients' ecosystems. DeBlanc previously spent over a decade at Deloitte Consulting in the federal government practice after working in external audit at regional, national, and international firms. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of Richmond, where she graduated in 2010, as well as an associate degree from Afghanistan. Born in Afghanistan, she came to the United States in 2006 on a scholarship and rose to senior manager at Deloitte before launching her own business to pursue greater autonomy and a holistic approach to client service.
