About Sofia
Sofia Garcia has been working in the design field for seven years. She began her career as an art director in Chicago at FCB Chicago, where she directed campaigns and created social designs for pharmaceutical clients such as Johnson & Johnson and Kimberly Clark. Since January of this year, she has been freelancing full-time, collaborating with clients including Tennis Channel and Hilton in a hybrid role that combines design and motion design. Her typical responsibilities include concepting ideas for social campaigns, creating visual designs and mood boards, executing production, and presenting to clients. One of her notable achievements is creating the title sequence for the short film The Lemonade Stand for Synchrony Bank, where she handled design, illustration, and animation. Garcia earned her education at the Savannah College of Art and Design, double majoring in advertising and branding and motion design. She maintains memberships in One Show, The Creative, and AIGA, and she volunteers by fostering dogs for California Doodle Rescue.
