Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the guidance and support of Dr. Bunce, whose own educational journey mirrored mine. His mentorship has been invaluable, providing encouragement and insight throughout my academic path.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry to prioritize mentorship and cultivate strong relationships with their professors. These connections provide guidance, support, and valuable insight that can significantly shape your professional growth and success.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are resilience, growth, and integrity. I am committed to advancing my professional expertise by becoming EMDR certified and a BCBA candidate, all while navigating the challenges of balancing education, work, and certifications.

My personal journey has deeply shaped these values. Overcoming trauma and transforming my life began with removing myself from toxic environments and pursuing education as a path to empowerment. I started at Santa Monica College and continued my studies at CSU East Bay during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which reinforced my dedication to personal growth and helping others through similar struggles.
