Sofia Federica Maringoni

I graduated in 2024 with a double degree master's in global business management, which was a two-year program where I completed my first year at Universita Catolica in Milan with a concentration in global business marketing, and my second year at UCLA where I gained a specialization in digital marketing. After graduation, I started working at the Luca Lanzetta Group, which is an interior designer and architecture firm, where I was the business development and marketing associate for one year. I then transitioned to my current role as marketing communication manager at Atlas Concorde USA, where I've been for about 6-7 months now. In this role, I take care of all the communication aspects of marketing, starting from updating the website to social media communication, then preparing brochures, catalogs, and sales materials for the sales team. I also create presentations on products, new launches, and handle the press and PR side, sending out press releases when the company gets featured in articles. Landing this role was a big move for me, transitioning from an almost entrepreneurial-size company to a company that is present worldwide with manufacturing facilities in three countries. Being in charge of the communication of a company like this after almost three years of graduation is really rewarding. I'm originally from Italy and moved to the US just to complete my master at UCLA, and I've been stable here since then. I'm also currently enrolled in an MBA with a concentration in information technology at Humphreys University in a hybrid format, which allows me to have a full-time job while proceeding with my education.
