About Soghra
Soghra Quraishy owns and operates Wi-Fi Wireless as its sole proprietor in Hayward, California. The business, established in 2014, focuses on the retail sale of smartphones and electronic devices, along with repair services and activation of prepaid phone plans from providers such as AT&T and T-Mobile using unlocked devices. Quraishy has been involved in business since 2007, previously running a retail store selling women's accessories in Michigan from 2010 until 2012, after which she and her family relocated to California. In addition to her entrepreneurial work, she has experience as a homeroom teacher, preschool instructor, and summer school teacher in Michigan, and currently works part-time as a teacher's aide in California. She earned a bachelor's degree in India, where she began her career in teaching, and later taught with the Ministry of Education in Oman before moving to the United States. Outside of her professional roles, Quraishy volunteers with her local mosque and community organizations. She emphasizes the importance of education in technology and advises perseverance, hard work, sincerity, and honesty.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Everyone should be educated in technology because it is growing and very important to know what's going around. Technology is the best to get educated in now.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Focus on education, have perseverance, do hard work, be sincere and honest, keep yourself busy and educated.
