Her Story

About Sona

Sona Dagley has spent over 10 years in the fitness industry, driven by a passion to help people uncover their true physical and inner strengths while building confidence that extends from the body to emotional and mental well-being. She serves as a motivational speaker, focusing on school-aged children during turbulent times in their lives to show them they are not alone and can overcome challenges through their own strength. Sona also volunteers at a dog rescue and adoption center. She attributes her success to her support system of family, friends, and community, along with her personal determination and grit, developed after losing both parents at a young age. She advises those entering entrepreneurship in fitness that while it involves long hours and grind, the reward is a lifetime of joy, happiness, and fulfillment from helping others love themselves.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sona

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes first from my support system, the people that have been there for me my entire life. Next is my personal determination and grit. Losing my parents at a young age meant I knew I needed to succeed with no other option, to make them proud and to make myself proud. I want to look back and be proud of everything I've accomplished and know that I made this world a better place.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Going into entrepreneurship in fitness is going to be a grind, and that's okay because what you receive out of it is exponentially more. You put in long hours like 12 to 16 hour days, but what you get is a lifetime of pure joy, happiness, and fulfillment from helping others love themselves.
