Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sondos

01What do you attribute your success to?

Family support is a big thing. It's so good when you have people who believe in you and they help you reach the next level. Persistence and resilience - the number of times where I was feeling down and depressed but still deciding to get up and do it. Whenever I go through a very difficult point and push through, always something great happens after that.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Always have a goal and a plan. Look into what your path is leading you toward and go after it. If an opportunity presents itself that is new to you and you feel it's good, pursue that opportunity. You never know what good things you can learn or what it can lead you towards.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Opportunities are everywhere if you're working hard. The challenge has been with the many opportunities presented since graduation - discernment and determination of what we envisioned our life to be. Recently more careful about pivots and reorganizing priorities including building a good personal life.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Trust, loyalty, and fairness. You have to have these three if you want to make it with the people.
