Her mission is to provide funding opportunities for businesses that may not qualify for traditional bank loans, enabling them to grow, expand, and achieve their financial goals. Ms. Carpenter's career reflects a unique blend of expertise in technology, real estate, and finance. She began her professional journey as a network administrator and systems engineer, working with organizations in Silicon Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City's financial sector.

In 2004, she founded Spruce Hill Properties, where she spent more than a decade acquiring, managing, and selling distressed properties throughout the Philadelphia, PA area. This entrepreneurial experience provided her with firsthand knowledge of business financing and real estate, laying the foundation for her transition into business lending and financial consulting.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and also completed telecommunications and networking training at San Francisco State University. Although her career has evolved from technology and real estate into financial services, Ms. Carpenter's creative background continues to complement her analytical approach to problem-solving. Through Carpenter Financial Services, she remains committed to helping entrepreneurs access flexible funding solutions, with a particular focus on commercial real estate, equipment financing, revenue-based lending, and the growing cannabis business sector nationwide.

My success I feel is primarily due to persistence and looking for solutions that are out of the the box. Since each client that aligns with Carpenter Financial Services is unique, our approach is customized for their needs.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Not sure if it was actual advice but something i learned over time. That is to always be yourself. Put your own personal stamp on what you've learned that's been effective. That's what makes you unique and stand out from the crowd.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering any industry is to focus on becoming the best professional you can be. Your success should be defined by your expertise, work ethic, and commitment to excellence—not by your gender or race. Continuously develop your knowledge, sharpen your skills, and strive to be exceptional in everything you do. I have never viewed my identity as a limitation or a crutch; instead, I have always challenged myself to be the best I can be. Excellence, dedication, and performance are what truly set you apart, regardless of who you are.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges I feel is being able to reach out to the business owners that really need my services. Since a lot don't even know that alternative capital exists. They often feel that the bank's decline is the last word. That is also the opportunity once they understand the concept.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values in work and personal life really go hand in hand. Honesty, Persistence, Taking time for myself.
