Sonia Estrada

I've been in my field since 2013, and in my current position as Provider Relations Manager at Texas Legal for almost 7 years. My key responsibilities involve handling all the networking and onboarding for our attorneys. I go into our calendar to see which new attorney has joined, do check-ins with them, and make sure they feel comfortable with our program. It really comes down to customer service - I want my clients, the attorneys, to feel comfortable on our provider panel and know from start to finish what their expectations are and what our members' expectations are. I focus on making our collaboration productive so we're not setting them up for failure and ensuring there are clear expectations with no cross wires. Even though I was predominantly the only one training them and we had panels of over 400 attorneys, I was still able to build rapport with these attorneys and make sure they felt comfortable and confident in their role and in our mission. As a nonprofit, what we do is connect our attorneys to members that are seeking legal counsel, helping provide affordable legal services to Texans.
