Her Story

About Sophia

Sophia Ralofsky serves as an assistant manager with Vector in the marketing and sales industry, a position she has held since July 2025. As a student at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio, she is majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Entrepreneurship. She balances her professional responsibilities with her role as a student athlete on the university soccer team. In the summer, Ralofsky took on the role of branch manager in her hometown, where she opened a new office, assembled her own sales team, produced $75,000 in sales, and onboarded 17 representatives. She attributes her drive to her upbringing around successful parents and a desire to build her own path, guided by advice from her father to keep opportunities open. Ralofsky values accountability, discipline, family, faith, and academic integrity in both her work and studies.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sophia

01What do you attribute your success to?

I grew up around my parents who are both very successful people. I think that's just standard that I kind of already like I have always held myself to is like knowing what where I want to be in the future and like knowing that I kind of want to carry that on. I feel like the stories of coming from a family of success isn't as talked about and you know it can be sometimes hard for people who come from that to not take advantage of that I guess in a way and not just like stay online like I want to do something apart from that success and have my own.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Something that my dad always tells me is to not like cut myself off from opportunity and to always keep doors open. That's a big reason that I'm actually doing this right now just because I saw the message from you guys it can't hurt anything. If anything it could create opportunity.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Personally definitely like accountability discipline but also my family and faith are big things for me. And then academically I guess you could also say accountability and discipline but also like academic integrity and honesty in my work. I think it's easy to not have that nowadays with like AI and everything so that's and I try to do my best is really just to do a lot of my work on my own and actually absorb the information that I'm learning and get the most out of college that I can.
