Sophie Sabillon

Sophie Sabillon is a Senior Quality Engineer with a background in biomedical engineering and over 10 years of experience in the healthcare devices industry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad de Enolica Central Americana (Unitec) in Honduras in 2016. Passionate about improving patient outcomes through hands-on work, she transitioned from an initial interest in medicine to biomedical engineering and then into quality assurance, focusing on manufacturing processes, complaint investigations, CAPA, audits, and scalable quality systems. She has worked with medical device companies including Abbott and a current startup environment, and she holds an ASQ Quality Auditor Certification. Sophie is a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and values accountability, integrity, respect, and cross-functional collaboration in her professional approach.
