Ten minutes with Sparkle
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would definitely say the mentors that paved the way before me, because I had to have mentorship in order to be able to build my confidence, build my skills, and my expertise in the field that I am in today. So, I would definitely say it's from my former mentors and manager.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Trust yourself and your ability to fly. And what that means to me is that you know your potential. You know what you can bring to the table, and I think sometimes we underestimate just how impactful and powerful we truly are. Having the mindset that you have the potential to learn if you don't know it, that you have the potential to grow in areas where you need improvement, so that once you get your reins, you're able to fly, and to be able to lend a helping hand to somebody behind you that is learning to fly.
