About Sravanthi
I came to the U.S. for my higher studies and completed my Master's in Business Analytics from the University of New Haven in December 2024. Before that, I worked for Amazon in India as a KYC and AML analyst, which was a major breakthrough for me professionally and personally. Getting placed at Amazon was my most notable achievement because it helped me get over the sadness regarding my dad's death, as I got the position right after he passed away. That experience gave me the idea to widen my knowledge and pursue my master's degree. During my college days in India, I also worked as a content writer. Now at UBS, where I've been for close to 2 years, I work with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, Excel, Word documents, and SQL. I recently completed certifications in Salesforce Platform Developer and Administrator, and I work with JIRA, Epic, and Visual Studio. I also completed business analytics certifications with Atlas ID Solutions in Hyderabad, where I created a project involving BRDs and risk analysis for new business ventures.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would attribute my success to friends and family support, along with hard work. Having that support system has been crucial throughout my journey, especially during difficult times like when I lost my father. The encouragement from those around me, combined with my dedication and perseverance, has helped me achieve my goals and continue moving forward in my career.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say choose it if you are truly interested in playing with numbers and if you want to help people. Being good at communication is also important. I would like to tell them to be updated with any kind of technology they're going to learn. Staying current with technological advancements is crucial in this field, so continuous learning and keeping your skills sharp will help you succeed in business IT.
