About Sravya
Sravya Itapu is a seasoned professional with 20 years in information security and compliance. She started her career with SAP Security and worked as an internal auditor at United Health Group before taking on external auditor responsibilities. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on vendor security assessments, third-party risk management, and leading PCI audits while onboarding GRC tools for vendor security questionnaires. Sravya has also managed compliance across multiple frameworks including SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HIPAA, and GXP, building cross-compliant programs and conducting gap assessments. She recently transitioned from Salesforce to Highland, where she continues her work in security and compliance using various GRC tools. Sravya attributes her success to hard work, discipline, persistence, and patience, noting that every role contributes to the next chapter of her career.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I always believe hard work, discipline, and persistence patience is very important. Every single role adds up to the next chapter of the life, so that's why it's very important to be patient. You need to be disciplined, no matter what, wake up at the same time, do the same things that you're doing, believe in yourself. Prioritize yourselves. Things will be fine.
