Her Story

About Sree

Sri Rednam serves as a technology leader at Capital Group, where she leads six teams across the globe to deliver quality products for enterprise-scale applications. Her work focuses on improving software quality, reliability, and automation, and she has recently incorporated AI solutions into her initiatives. Rednam earned her undergraduate degree in computer engineering after being named a gold medalist and overall best student in high school, which helped her secure a full-ride scholarship covering tuition, lodging, and boarding for four years. She attributes her drive to making her father proud and has empowered team members, including women, to transition from manual testing roles to automation and software development engineering positions. Outside her professional role, Rednam participates in scouting as a Boy Scout mom and ASM, serves as an ACCU member and judge and chair for categories at the LA County Science Fair, contributes to gardening projects at a Hindu temple, and organizes clothing drives for non-profits. She advises young women entering the industry to follow their hearts, maintain consistency in their work, provide visibility to upper management, market themselves effectively, and showcase their achievements.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sree

01What do you attribute your success to?

I wanted to make my dad proud all the time, whether he's alive or not. That's what gets me go forward.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Always follow their heart and keep their work consistent. I was always doing things in silos myself and did not provide visibility to my upper management. I did not speak up enough. You need to market yourself and sell yourself. Visibility and showcasing your work is the only way and you have to be truly consistent.
