Her Story
About Sri Neha
I am a Senior Business Analyst with 2.5 years in the role and 7 years of total experience. I hold a Master’s in Information Systems from the University of North Texas. I focus on delivering real time solutions across consulting, software, and process improvement, translating requirements into practical tools. As a Product Owner, I have led the development of multiple solutions, and over the past 5 months my team and I have been working extensively with AI. Our products are currently used by both public and private sector organizations. I take a flexible, team focused approach and prioritize based on what is needed most, from coordination and tool development to client collaboration with public sector cities. I bring a structured and strategic approach to execution and am comfortable working across the product lifecycle. My experience includes Salesforce and Oracle CPQ administration, Smartsheet administration and development, Accelo administration, and hands on work with AI driven solutions. A key achievement for me is building tools that are actively used and valued by teams and clients.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sri Neha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I want to be a person who can inspire more people to achieve their dreams. Being the first woman in my family to move from India to the United States and build my own path has been a meaningful part of my journey. I have been fortunate to have strong support from my parents and friends, who have always stood by me and encouraged me to keep going. That support shaped who I am, and it motivates me to give back in the same way. Many of my family members and cousins look up to me and come to me for advice, and I take that to heart. I want to lead by example, stay grounded, and be someone others can rely on. If my journey can help even a few people believe in themselves and take that first step, that means everything to me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It is something my parents have always told me, and my mentors have reinforced it over time. There will always be ups and downs, moments of doubt, and unexpected challenges, but what matters most is staying consistent and moving forward. That mindset has helped me stay focused, especially during uncertain times. Progress does not always look perfect, but showing up, learning, and continuing to push ahead makes all the difference.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Step out of your comfort zone. This message is for every woman out there. We all have flaws and insecurities, but they do not define what we are capable of. Once you push past that comfort zone, you begin to see the world more clearly. You realize that everyone is navigating their own challenges, and no one is perfect. The key is to accept yourself, accept others, and keep moving forward with confidence.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunities in my field come from working closely with public and private sector teams to improve how they operate. Over the past couple of years, I have had the chance to work with several cities in Texas, which has been a great learning experience. What makes this space exciting is the constant opportunity to meet new people, understand different challenges, and contribute in ways that genuinely make things work better for them.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, focus, and teamwork are the values that matter most to me. I believe in being honest, staying committed, and working with people who are passionate and open to sharing knowledge, because that kind of collaboration builds a strong community where everyone can grow and succeed together.
