Srilatha Ainala

Srilatha Ainala has built a career spanning nearly 20 years in financial services, beginning at Wells Fargo as a software engineer where she advanced to team lead. She then joined Bank of America to support the merger with Merrill Lynch before moving to Capital One in Richmond, Virginia, where she led core payments applications including domestic and international wires and letters of credit, driving modernization efforts. At Capital One she later managed credit servicing teams through a major cloud transformation. Sri continued her focus on transformation at JPMorgan Chase in Texas, leading mission-critical enterprise applications and implementing agile ways of working. Most recently at Wells Fargo she has led risk management transformations that include product modernization, agile adoption, and team development. She earned a master's degree in electrical and computer science engineering. Sri actively contributes to the industry through memberships and mentorship with PayTechWomen, Women in Data Science, and AnitaB.org, and has presented at internal company conferences and Women in Tech chapters.
