About stacey
Stacey Harris is the owner of an optical eyeglasses business in Denver, which she started in 2020. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in journalism and moving from California to Denver, she took a part-time job in the industry when she could not secure work in networks and turned it into her own business. She draws on her background in nursing, radio, television, film, and journalism in her current role. Harris plans to pursue acquisitions of existing optical businesses. She also runs the We See You Denver non-profit and its junior entrepreneur program with vending machines, aiming to support families and children in the community. She has built two pop-up stores outside of Denver.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
There's never a right time to go into it, and just have faith in yourself and just go out and do it. There's no real time, people wait for the perfect opportunity. Just keep going, and step out on faith. The perfect opportunity is now.
