About Stacey

Stacey Ryan is the President of School of Rock, where she leads a global organization dedicated to combining music education, performance, and community engagement to inspire the next generation of musicians. With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Ryan brings expertise in operations management, strategic planning, business development, and team development. Since joining School of Rock in 2015, she has advanced through leadership roles including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Company School Operations, Vice President of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer before becoming President in 2024.

Ryan’s leadership is focused on operational excellence, organizational growth, and creating meaningful experiences for students, families, franchise owners, and employees. During her tenure as Chief Operating Officer, she was responsible for operational excellence, safety, and brand compliance across the global franchise system, supporting operations in 15 countries and helping deliver technical learning and personal development to tens of thousands of students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rutgers University and completed Harvard Business School Executive Education’s Finance for Senior Executives program. Her contributions to the music industry were recognized with the She Rocks Champion Award from the Women’s International Music Network in 2023.

Beyond her executive role, Ryan is committed to mentorship, leadership development, and expanding opportunities for women. In 2020, she founded FrontWomen.org, a community created to support women leaders through honest conversations, connection, and shared experiences. She also serves on the boards of NAMM and Arthur Murray International and is a member of The Recording Academy. Through her professional leadership, board service, and volunteer work, including mentoring individuals through the Innocence Project, Ryan continues to champion youth development, creative education, inclusive leadership, and the transformative power of community.
