Stacey’s mission is clear: to transform midlife from a pause into a pivotal shift, leaving a legacy of informed, confident, and supported women.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to always doing the work. Success is relative - everybody has a different definition of success - but for me, success is being able to show up every day and be my full self and my whole self. I would attribute that to, honestly, the strong foundation that was laid by my parents and the people that I surround myself with, my family, that keep me grounded. There's no way I would be able to do it without my husband and my family. My village is important.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I received, and I say it every time I'm asked this question, is from my dad: never let people rent space in your head. You were given the vision that you were given, it wasn't given to anybody else. So you need to act on what you were given, and the gifts you were given.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say, again, don't let people rent space in your head. The vision and your decision to move forward into entrepreneurship was given to you, it wasn't given to anybody else. So don't entertain things from people that have never done it. Always surround yourself with people that have done it before, that have the knowledge, that have the expertise, but you just can't let people rent space in your head.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is funding - funding, funding, funding. It's challenging solely because of the climate that we're in, but sometimes we give it too much credence. We have to find the place, because revenue is king. You can't help anybody if you don't have the money, if you don't have the funding. We're not not-for-profit. The biggest opportunity is building relationships. I think it's a forgotten craft and art. The more relationships you have, the more people you have to tap, the more people you can help.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity and loyalty guide everything I do, both professionally and personally.
