My path to becoming an AI Developer wasn't a straight line, but every turn taught me something invaluable about resilience and human connection. Raised by a single father in the 90s, I learned the value of hard work and dedication early on. Navigating the loss of my father at fourteen was a defining journey that tested my strength for years, but it ultimately forged the woman I am today—someone who isn't afraid of a challenge and who leads with deep empathy.
This personal history has shaped my unique approach to technology. I am often the 'go-to' person for simplifying complex problems, and I pride myself on being a radical truth-teller. I have a keen ability to see the inherent strengths and growth areas in both people and processes, and I’m not afraid to provide the honest feedback necessary for growth. My goal is always to uplift those around me, whether I’m mentoring other women in tech or ensuring the AI models I build are developed with an ethical, human-centric perspective.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a deep-seated promise to be someone my father, whom I lost when I was fourteen, would be proud of. That early lesson in resilience became the foundation of my career. Today, my drive is fueled by my husband and my daughter; they are my constant motivation to push boundaries, embrace continuous learning, and demonstrate that with love and determination, it is possible to redefine one's future.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The greatest challenge in AI right now is maintaining the 'human element'—ensuring that Large Language Models (LLMs) are trained on high-quality, ethical, and unbiased data. However, the opportunity is limitless. We have the chance to use these tools to solve complex global problems and enhance human creativity, provided we remain committed to radical transparency and human-centric design.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My work and life are anchored in resilience, empathy, and integrity. I believe in being a 'radical truth-teller'—providing the honest, sometimes difficult feedback that leads to real growth and improvement. Whether I am fine-tuning an AI model or mentoring a colleague, my goal is to lead with the same strength and heart that have guided me through my own life’s challenges.
