Stacie Ramos

Stacie Ramos is a seasoned construction professional currently serving as the Pre-Construction Manager at Fairway Construction Co., Inc. With a career spanning over two decades, she brings a rare combination of technical expertise and strategic leadership to every project. Stacie began her career as an MEP designer/drafter, dedicating 13 years to that field before transitioning into project estimating and preconstruction in 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Missouri State University and an Associate’s degree in Construction Technology from Austin Peay State University.
Throughout her career, Stacie has worked on a wide range of project types—from federal contracts and educational campuses to mixed-use developments and senior living facilities. Her expertise spans hard bid, design-build, negotiated bids, and joint ventures, with a strong focus on collaboration, cost control, and scheduling. Outside of her professional role, Stacie is deeply committed to workforce development and education. She sits on multiple advisory boards, teaches college-level classes, and has led initiatives such as the ACE Mentor Program of the Ozarks and the Springfield Contractors Association's Generation Next program. Her dedication to mentoring and empowering the next generation reflects her passion for building not only great projects but also strong, capable teams.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can do anything you put your mind to—your mindset truly shapes your success.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is: believe in yourself, dream big, set your goals, and know that you can achieve anything you set your mind to—just don’t forget to make time for yourself along the way; I personally enjoy unwinding with a good Vee Henderson book.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the field right now is balancing high demands with meaningful impact, and for me, that includes continuing to serve in the National Guard for the past six years and dedicating my free time to volunteering in disaster relief programs and efforts to reduce homelessness.
