Stacy Adams

Stacy Adams serves as Administrative Manager and owner of Preferred Care at Home of Cape Coral and Fort Myers. She has spent 8 years in the geriatric care field, driven by her personal experience with her parents' Alzheimer's disease. In addition to running her company, which provides assistance with daily living activities and specializes in dementia care, she works as a trainer and dementia educator with Positive Approach to Care. There she volunteers her time as a community speaker to help families respond effectively to brain changes. Her professional path began with EMT training in high school and fire science classes, followed by 15 years as a 911 dispatcher with the Livermore Police Department. She later owned a restaurant and worked as a marketing manager for Marriott International before returning to Florida and founding her home care business. Stacy Adams and her team have received the Caring Star Awards for the last 2 years and Home Care Pulse Provider and Employer of Choice awards for the last 7 years. She is a member of the Southwest Florida Guardian Group and is in the sponsorship phase for Rotary. She also serves as a Red Cross Learning Center CPR instructor and regularly provides cookies to assisted living facilities and clients.
