Stacy’s approach to leadership emphasizes hands-on involvement, empowerment, and creating a workplace where people feel seen, supported, and valued.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to strong communication and networking skills, which have allowed me to build meaningful relationships throughout my career. Equally important is maintaining honesty and integrity, both in my professional and personal life, as I believe these values are the foundation for trust and long-term success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to take things one day at a time and avoid unnecessary stress. It’s also important to have backup plans—whether that’s earning certifications or developing practical skills—so you always have options and aren’t relying entirely on a single path.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to take things one day at a time and avoid unnecessary stress. Build backup plans by pursuing certifications, practical skills, or diverse experiences, so you’re not putting all your eggs in one basket. I also encourage reflecting on your own education and career journey, learning from both successes and challenges along the way.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is finding the balance between being personable and maintaining authority—ensuring that kindness is never mistaken for weakness. Another ongoing challenge is managing perfectionism and learning to delegate effectively, which is essential for both personal growth and team success.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important value to me in both my work and personal life is honesty. I believe that the most meaningful contribution you can make to others is keeping your word and acting with integrity.
