Ten minutes with Stacy
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the inspiration and encouragement I have gained from watching successful women around me. Seeing their dedication, resilience, and accomplishments motivated me to believe in my own potential and continue advancing along my career path. Their examples showed me the importance of perseverance, confidence, and continuous growth, inspiring me to pursue new opportunities and strive for excellence in everything I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to remember that the work done behind the scenes is just as valuable as what is seen publicly. Supporting others, staying dependable, and consistently putting in the effort often make the greatest impact. I have learned that dedication, reliability, and a willingness to contribute without always being in the spotlight are qualities that are recognized and appreciated over time.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to always remain open to learning new skills and never stop growing professionally. Take the initiative to read industry articles, research emerging technologies, and explore new ideas that can improve workplace processes, company culture, and overall effectiveness. Continuous learning not only helps you build confidence and expertise but also prepares you to recognize opportunities where you can contribute meaningful solutions and make a lasting impact.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is ensuring that the value of an executive assistant is fully recognized and aligned with the investment organizations are willing to make. Executive assistants provide much more than administrative support; we contribute to productivity, efficiency, strategic organization, and the overall success of leadership teams. The opportunity lies in continuing to demonstrate the impact of this role by showcasing the expertise, problem-solving abilities, and value that executive assistants bring to an organization.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are transparency, communication, and loyalty. I believe that being honest, open, and clear creates trust and strengthens relationships. Effective communication helps teams collaborate, solve challenges, and achieve shared goals, while loyalty reflects my commitment to supporting the people and organizations I work with. These values guide the way I approach my responsibilities and build meaningful connections with others.
