01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Best career advice is work-life balance, and finding a job or a team or have a manager that appreciates work-life balance, especially for working moms. Find a job that gives you that. And if it doesn't, just find ways to sneak it in for yourself, because wellness is really important, because if your cup isn't full, then no one else's is.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find female mentors. Find a woman, anyone. They can be older, younger, whatever, but just find someone that you can trust and learn from, because we only grow when we're stronger together. Find someone, even if they're not like you, I think opposites attract, so find someone not like you, and just learn from them, and be a sponge.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is gaining market share even though we're the number 3 supplier. The advantages that I have is our name is one of the best in the industry, and now we've just gotta live up to that name. We're trying to implement making our customers and distributors as happy as possible, taking as much off their plate as we can.
