About Stacy

I founded The Thoughtful Listener under the umbrella of God's Promises Media, my communication company, after transitioning from podcasting and recognizing a significant gap in communication skills between people. Listening is something I've always done since I was a little girl - it's not something I learned, but a natural skill I later honed through certifications in active listening and empathy circle facilitation, as well as women's business training through Cornell University and Bank of America. As a solopreneur, I run every aspect of my company virtually, from social media marketing to networking, outreach, administration, and finances, working alongside AI tools like Claude. I created this company because I realized that women in leadership roles, whether they're entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, or in corporate spaces, don't have places where they can truly express themselves without judgment or regret. I've been there myself, in networking sessions where I've said something honest and walked away thinking maybe I shouldn't have shared that in that space. No one should have to experience that regret for deciding to be vulnerable. Everyone should have an outlet, a safe space where they don't have to perform and can just show up as themselves. When people can release their thoughts and emotions in this judgment-free environment, clarity starts to rise to the surface, their truth surfaces, and they can move forward in what they need to do. What matters most to me is when a person leaves our space knowing the direction they're going to go in next - they have release, they can exhale, they know their next steps, and they're lighter.
