Stacy Swanson

Stacy Swanson serves as an addiction counselor in a substance abuse detox facility in Reseda, California, where she has worked since 2007. After achieving sobriety through Alcoholics Anonymous in November 2007, she transitioned from real estate and enrolled in the Pierce College Addiction Studies program, graduating with her associate degree in 2013. Throughout her career, Swanson has held various roles including clinical positions, case management, and program director of a detox program, but ultimately stepped down to focus on direct client interaction as a counselor. She is certified and credentialed through KDAC. Currently an enrollee at Southern New Hampshire University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with an expected graduation in 2027, she has been an honors student and on the honors roll every term since 2024. In addition to her professional work, Swanson is a dedicated volunteer at animal shelters, helping fosters find homes for dogs as a passionate animal advocate.
