About Star
Star D. is a retired nurse and former general contractor who has embraced a new chapter centered on writing, storytelling, and personal exploration. She has published several stories through Medium and Substack, covering real-world experiences and events, including the July 4, 2020, flood in Kerrville, Texas. Her diverse professional background has given her a unique perspective on service, resilience, and the experiences that shape communities. Today, Star is developing her work as an author, blogger, and YouTuber while writing a book of her own. She is also studying and practicing remote viewing, an area of personal interest that she hopes to apply toward helping locate missing and exploited children. Her goal is to combine her creativity, curiosity, and desire to help others into meaningful projects that can provide support, awareness, and hope to families and communities. Outside of her professional and creative pursuits, Star is an adventurous nature enthusiast who enjoys hiking, walking, and mountain biking. She particularly appreciates spending time around Lake Whitney, observing the area's natural beauty and wildlife, including Canadian geese. Her love of learning, exploration, storytelling, and community service continues to shape her journey as she pursues new experiences and seeks opportunities to make a positive difference.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the talented people in my network, particularly those skilled in remote viewing, as well as the support and inspiration of my parents and children.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to keep learning, serve others, and make a positive impact. I believe true success comes from both personal growth and helping those around me.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to lead with compassion, stay committed to learning, and never lose sight of the importance of helping others. Be generous with your time and knowledge, and use your work to make a meaningful difference.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field is using unique skills and perspectives, such as remote viewing and prophetic dreaming, to support efforts to locate missing and exploited children. My goal is to write a book that provides hope, resources, and guidance to families and those involved in recovery efforts.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to guide the foundation of our family are faith in God and a strong commitment to our community.
