Drawing from personal experience and a deep commitment to authenticity, she emphasizes the importance of “always being you” and prioritizing personal well-being. Through her evolving body of work, Starsha continues to inspire others to step into their strength and live more empowered, purpose-driven lives.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Starsha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success and motivation to living not only for myself, but also in honor of my sister, who was tragically killed by her boyfriend in 1996. That loss profoundly shaped who I am today and set me on a lifelong path of empowering and supporting others.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always be myself and remain authentic in everything I do.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry to value themselves, trust their own worth, and avoid forcing opportunities. Instead, I encourage them to stay true to themselves, remain patient, and allow their path to unfold naturally.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

My biggest challenges would be finding my community and trying to get some men to understand where women come from.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are centered on uplifting and inspiring others, fostering encouragement, and creating positive impact in the lives of those around me.
