Her Interview

Ten minutes with Stefania

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents have been such a huge example of just hard work and determination, and everything you kind of set your mind to you can accomplish. From very early on they gave me a very empowering outlook on life and supported me in whatever I did, whether sports or acting singing or dancing classes, and really supported me and my career giving me the opportunity to lean into what I love.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You really need to lean on all of your relationships, all of your networking. If you meet someone follow up with them. It doesn't cost anyone to just invite someone to get coffee pick their brain. It really is just putting yourself out there meeting people and that is just you can't replace that.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There are many challenges in the entertainment industry. It has been shrinking and so even though there's a lot of challenges a lot of challenges come with opportunities so it's always trying to figure out what is next staying on top of the trends what's working what's not. A huge opportunity is giving filmmakers direct resources and access because nowadays you have to wear multiple hats.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My family is huge. I believe everything I do and I think that there's greater purpose in what I'm doing. I don't take my job as like a 9 to 5. I really do hope and feel like I can make a difference in filmmakers' lives and people's lives in general. I want to provide transparency and work together with filmmakers and partner with them to really bring their films to audiences.
