I've been in this field since 2010, though I actually started doing web graphic design work back in high school. I took web graphic design courses then and was already building websites. I went on to get my associate's degree in web graphic design from DeVry University in Fort Lauderdale, then earned my bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies at UCF, which involved three different majors and minors including marketing and criminal justice. I also completed my master's at UCF because I love education and the world of academia. I've been with We Think Integrated for 6 years now, and what I do is optimize websites with a lot of SEO tasks, and I run all different sorts of paid digital advertisements - from streaming ads to social media ads to literally any ad you've come across on the internet. I manage a pretty wide breadth of clients, so every day is something different. Sometimes I'll do website tasks, sometimes I'll shift to launching a new campaign, sometimes it's just a strategic meeting about what we're gonna do next. It's very challenging, especially nowadays with all the advancements and the way consumers have become more weary of advertisements, and when clients don't have the budget they used to but still need to sustain in business. That's what keeps me going - the challenge. I actually taught a digital marketing boot camp at the University of Central Florida for a few years, which I loved, but unfortunately the program got sunset. I'm thinking about what I want to do next in the world of academia because I really do love it.
