Stephani Magee
Stephani Magee is a seasoned wellness instructor in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area whose career reflects a lifelong devotion to movement and mindfulness. She is the creator of Somatic Flow, a signature practice she developed that blends Qigong, yoga, and elements of dance into a deeply restorative and empowering experience. With more than two decades of teaching experience, Stephani’s work is rooted in helping individuals shift from outward performance to inward awareness—cultivating strength, expansion, and personal growth from within. Stephani’s journey in movement began as a child when she studied dance. She later became a Yoga Alliance certified instructor and expanded into Pilates in 2006. She is certified on all apparatus and equipment. In recent years, she completed Qigong training, a discipline rooted in Tai Chi, further deepening her mind-body expertise. She holds certifications in Aqua Yoga and Reiki and incorporates sound healing into select offerings. She has developed an innovative aqua-based Somatic Flow practice that integrates Aqua Yoga and Qigong. Stephani lived in Japan for 10 years. She studied Japanese and Spanish at Sophia University. She brings cultural depth and global experience to her teaching. Looking ahead, Stephani is preparing to launch Somatic Flow teacher training through Yoga Alliance and plans to author a book on the practice in the coming years—continuing her mission to expand mindful movement as a pathway to lifelong vitality.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to years of dance classes where I was always taught to shine. That foundation of learning to radiate positivity and light through movement has carried through everything I do. It's about letting your light shine from within, not for an external audience, but for yourself. That energy carries through and radiates into the world and affects the way we experience the world.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received came from my teacher during my yoga teacher training with Saul David Raye. He said that even though it might feel like there are a lot of people getting into yoga, there's enough room for everybody. It's not a competition. That advice has stayed with me and shaped how I approach my work and how I support other practitioners. It reminds me that we can all shine in our own way and that supporting one another is more important than competing.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering fitness or mindful movement to find what moves you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Be open to everything and don't feel like you have to limit yourself to one thing. Over the years I've taken a variety of training programs. There is always something to learn. Find your calling and go for it! I think being open to different experiences and cheering others on is so important.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think they're all opportunities, really. I don't see them as challenges because in movement there are infinite possibilities. The way we move and the reasons for the workout or practice we choose needs to make sense in our life. The methods and unique perspective of each teacher is important. Be relatable and embrace your authenticity.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value to me is creating a safe space where people can find themselves in the flow and carry that sense of ease, that sense of belonging with them into their day and into their life.
Connecting with and taking care of friends and family is a further expansion of this concept. Through mind body practices we are raising awareness and global consciousness.
