Stephanie Scott is a freelance digital marketing consultant and content creator with experience in the field since 2020. After earning her bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in African American Studies in 2020 and interning at O Magazine, she transitioned into marketing roles including copywriter, social media manager, and creative project manager at companies such as Unilever and Conde Nast. She recently graduated with an MBA from Georgia State and founded Imani Brands LLC to provide digital marketing services to small businesses. Her work includes building digital marketing strategies through social media management, calendar planning, graphic creation, back-end SEO, web page building, and consulting on paid ads. On a personal level, she is a content creator on TikTok who partners with brands to promote products. Stephanie aims to grow her agency to hire freelancers and social media managers, copywriters, and graphic designers while emphasizing authenticity in marketing alongside the use of AI as a tool.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
AI is a tool but cannot replace humans and authenticity. Your ability to be a human and connect with people and appeal to the emotions of people is what makes marketing and real digital marketers still valuable. Use AI as co-intelligence to enhance skills, for ideas rather than replacing creation.
