Her Story

About Stephanie

Stephanie Fisher began her career in IT in 1998 and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in business analysis and project delivery, including five years in BCP and 11 to 12 years in FinTech banking. She describes herself as an interpreter between business, technology, and operations, where she leads business systems analysts at the VP level, gathers requirements across 11 business units, defines UAT testing strategies, and coordinates releases with engineering, architecture, risk, and operations teams. Her earlier career included multi-million dollar rollouts such as a GPS dispatch implementation for a utility fleet and an international cloud platform rollout, as well as partnering with Deloitte on requirements and UAT documentation. She has achieved notable efficiencies, including automating weekly reporting to save 625 hours of labor per year and supporting an international platform rollout that delivered 101 person years of savings. Stephanie attributes her success to being open, honest, and trustworthy, with a strong emphasis on building relationships by tracking personal details like birthdays and family information. She values commitment, honesty, and trust in her work, and she has led Women in IT and initiatives for people with disabilities at her bank. Her education comes primarily from the School of Hard Knocks, allowing her to quickly learn new software and systems.
